One house. Three generations. Multiple levels.

On the outside, the sequence of terraced houses is interrupted: a clear, white frame wraps around the volume and defines its character. Beyond this architectural threshold, the dark timber cladding becomes a deep, tactile backdrop. Loggias and terraces are carved out through subtraction, framed voids designed to be inhabited and to open views.

The frame itself becomes a visual device, capturing the valley and transforming it into a domestic landscape.

On the ground floor, an independent unit with direct access to the garden is designed for the grandparents. Above, the home of a young and growing family unfolds. The first floor accommodates the sleeping area, with two children’s rooms and a master bedroom featuring a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. The second floor is dedicated to living, dining, and kitchen spaces. Beneath the roof, a small study provides a quiet retreat.

Within the living areas, the fireplace becomes the central element, not only functional but also a defining spatial gesture. Bold, colored angles articulate distinct zones and create clearly identifiable places for gathering. The kitchens are shaped by contrast: stone and wood meet, expressing strength and warmth. This material balance connects the two apartments. Granite island units anchor the space, while functional oak walls can be opened or closed, adapting to the rhythm of daily life.

Solid, everyday elements, timeless in their character.
